Bob Howen

Bob and his wife, Judy, have produced a series of travel videos showcasing some of the most beautiful travel destinations in North America. These productions have resulted in five "Telly Awards". One element in Bob's success as a video producer has been a life long passion for still photography.

This passion was re-fueled with the introduction of digital capture, processing and printing. These powerful technologies allow photographers to control the entire process and obtain exactly the image they originally visualized.

Having lived in San Antonio for over 37 years, Bob has always been fascinated with the lovely Spanish missions located along the San Antonio River. The most famous, of course, is the Alamo. However, there are four more missions, each with its own unique design and character.

After many visits, Bob has created a series of fine art prints, which convey the aesthetic and historical images, embodied in these intriguing structures. Along with the San Antonio missions, Bob has also created a collection of images of scenic San Antonio, Texas and the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Other collections in Bob's portfolio include a variety of landscape, seascape, lifestyle and nature images gathered during 125,000 miles of motorhome travel adventures. His latest efforts have been focused on creating High Dynamic Range (HDR) images.

All images are captured with professional Nikon equipment and printed on Epson professional papers and canvas using the Gilcee printing process. This process produces outstanding quality prints that will last for many years.

Bob is also a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and has been the Chief Statistician for the NBA San Antonio Spurs for the past 37 years.
