Randy
Gay was born in Houston, Texas on May 20, 1951, but
has lived in San Antonio for twenty years. He
originally took up photography as a hobby while
doing securities litigation for a large San Antonio
law firm. After many years of being a lawyer, he
quit the practice of law to stay home with his
children. Being a stay-at-home-dad allowed him time
to develop his artwork. His art remains rooted in
photography but has evolved into highly stylized
“paintings” printed on fiber-based paper.
